TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES

• Summer Jobs for Herkimer County Youth: Summer job opportunities through Herkimer County. Don’t delay-the positions will go fast. 
• Struggling to job search in the digital age? Herkimer Working Solutions is hosting free computer training and certification classes from Northstar Digital Literacy.  Learn basic computer skills, internet basics, career search skills, Microsoft Word and Excel and more. They have information sessions coming up on April 4th and April 18th at 2pm. For more information call 315-867-1400.

• MV Tech Corps Training at MVCC. Get started on a career path in Mechatronics, Welding, Carpentry, Masonry, CNC Machining or HVAC. Earn a tech or trades certificate from MVCC in just eight months. MV Tech Corps provides full tuition and fees at MVCC, as well as last-dollar support for required materials expenses to eligible candidates. • Time is running out to sign up for Advance 2 Apprenticeship at MVCC. They are enrolling for their Spring Session now. You’ll receive training to develop in-demand skills to jumpstart your career in Manufacturing. There is no cost to students. It runs April 8-June 30.
