• 4/1/24- Carpenter’s Local #277 is hiring both apprentice and journeyman carpenters. TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES

• Summer Jobs for Herkimer County Youth: Summer job opportunities through Herkimer County. Don’t delay-the positions will go fast. 
• Struggling to job search in the digital age? Herkimer Working Solutions is hosting free computer training and certification classes from Northstar Digital Literacy.  Learn basic computer skills, internet basics, career search skills, Microsoft Word and Excel and more. They have information sessions coming up on April 4th and April 18th at 2pm. For more information call 315-867-1400.
• The Women’s Employment and Resource Center at 502 Court Street, Suite 234, Utica is offering their April Workshop series. If you are unemployed, under employed and actively seeking employment, this is a great opportunity to learn Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel or update your skills.

• Madison County Residents…Are you ready for a Career as a Union Carpenter? Madison County is offering 6 weeks of free training and support services. 
• MV Tech Corps Training at MVCC. Get started on a career path in Mechatronics, Welding, Carpentry, Masonry, CNC Machining or HVAC. Earn a tech or trades certificate from MVCC in just eight months. MV Tech Corps provides full tuition and fees at MVCC, as well as last-dollar support for required materials expenses to eligible candidates. Contact Rachel Maiolo at to find out more.
