Job Description:

Maintenance Worker, Full time for Johnson Park Center in Utica, NY.

Days and Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm.

Job Summary:

"We are looking for a reliable, skilled maintenance worker to perform essential upkeep tasks throughout our facility. In this position, you will be responsible for a wide variety of activities such as repairs and cleaning to ensure that our facilities are both tidy and functional.

Being reliable and self-motivated with a keen eye for detail is essential in this job, as the ideal candidate will have significant work experience and solid technical knowledge. You should have the skills and physical stamina necessary for this work.

Respond to all repair requests and maintenance concerns from residents and staff in a timely manner. Understanding and ability to repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, painting and mechanical systems. Apartment turnover completed and maintaining all JPC assets according to codes and JPC standards. Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment and performing preventative maintenance. Overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary. Ensure that the JPC community and its grounds are in good repair and provide a safe and attractive environment for residents. Maintain grounds, complete lawn service / snow removal and other outdoor grounds service. Assist in all JPC special events/programs in set up / break down and support.

Must demonstrate ability to provide exceptional customer service and the ability to successfully work on a team.

Requirements:

High school diploma and valid NY State driver's license.
