Cornell Cooperative Extension is hiring a Family Development Program Assistant in Oriskany

This position will serve as a member of the Family Development Team of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oneida County. This Program Assistant will provide program coordination and support to the Family Development program.

 

The individual will provide administrative support services such as, compiling existing materials into educational packets; maintaining inventory of educational resources; and providing administrative tasks for the program. This position will provide data entry of participant data requiring confidentiality. The Family Development Program Assistant will provide information to participants regarding other Extension programs, community agencies, and services as needed. Will appreciate and embrace diversity in all interactions with clientele, staff, volunteers, and the public.

Requirements: Associate Degree in Human Services or related field (High School Diploma/GED and one year transferrable program/functional experience may substitute) Experience relevant to the role of the position.

Paid time off includes 12 Vacation days, 15 Sick days, 4 Personal days, 12 Holidays, and 2 Floating Holidays annually.

The hourly rate for this position is $19.00.
