The Utica Municipal Housing Authority will host a workshop on how to apply for employment with the United States Census Bureau on Monday, July 29 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at the Utica Public Library, 303 Genesee Street, Utica, Gallery. The workshop is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served. Parking is in the rear of the building off Park Avenue.

Confirmed speakers are John Furman of the Utica Municipal Housing Authority and Katherine Dillon a Partnership Specialist with the U.S. Census Bureau. Mr. Furman will provide a short presentation on how to find and keep a job. Ms. Dillon will speak about how to apply for U.S. Census Bureau jobs.

Housing Authority staff and AmeriCorps members will be on site to provide information on local job opportunities and to provide information on other service referrals available.
