Request For Proposal - Auditing Services - 2023

The Workforce Development Board of Herkimer, Madison and Oneida Counties, Inc. (WDB) is requesting a proposal from qualified firms of certified public accountants to audit its financial statements for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2023, with the option of auditing its financial statements for each of the FOUR subsequent fiscal years.

The audit is to be performed in accordance with auditing standards generally accepted in the United States of America and the standards applicable to financial audits contained in Government Audit Standards, issued by the Comptroller General of the United States.

TIME REQUIREMENTS

A. Proposal Calendar

The following is a list of key dates up to and including the date proposals are due to be submitted:
Request for proposals issued March 30, 2023
Due date for notification of interest April 17, 2023
Due date for proposals May 1, 2023

B. Notification and Contract Dates

Selected firm notified May 15, 2023
Contract date June 1, 2023

C. Date Final Report is Due

The auditor shall draft financial statements, notes, and all supplementary schedules for the WDB by December 31, 2023.

The final report and ten (10) signed copies should be delivered to the Executive Director at the WDB offices.
