The New York State Canal Corporation is hiring for the following positions:

Canal Helper $15.19 per hour
• Assist in operation and maintenance of Canal equipment and structures. Assist in grounds and facilities maintenance at Canal sites and assist in operation of lift bridges.

Canal Structure Operator: $17.26 per hour
• Assist Chief Lock Operators in operating and maintaining Canal structures. Interact with recreational and commercial boaters and be responsible for recording specific operational data plus directing all boaters appropriately through locks.

Marine Helper: $15.19 per hour
• Assist in onshore and offshore maintenance of various floating plant work and dredge vessels and assist in levee and channel embankment repair.
