Repair responsibilities will include :
>Diagnostics and repairs for company owned vehicles being repaired and prepped for sale
>Performing repair work on vehicles for customers from the general public
>Inventory Purchasing – the employee will manage the purchases for the repair shop and have access to company vendor portals (AutoZone, Advance Auto, etc.) to ensure day to day essential are on location (oil, filters, batteries, etc.) and same day deliveries are available for specific jobs (brakes, rotors, etc.)
Administration responsibilities will include:
>Operating the company’s software program(s) for the repair shop including creating estimates, interaction with customers after diagnostics, scheduling, invoicing, and collecting payments
>Inventory Controls – the employee will be responsible to record all purchases in the applicable company software program. (Management will conduct monthly physical inventory audits).
>Detailing and Ceramic Coating – The employee will also be trained to perform vehicle detailing and an expanded line of company business – custom ceramic coating. Similar to the repair shop operations, this function will involve providing estimates, scheduling, creating invoices and payments.
>Sales and Customer Service – The employee will be trained to present preliminary presentations to walk in customers interested in purchasing a vehicle off the lot or to provide our staff what they are looking for.
>Administration – besides the repair shop software, the employee will also have access to components of the company QuickBooks accounting system to either integrate the repair shop software or make direct entries (detailing and ceramic coating).
Required Training – Many of the above functions (detailing, ceramic coating, specific repair functions, using company software systems, customer service, sales) will require ongoing on the job training by management. The individual that we are considering hiring, management has had over 15 hours of face-to-face interviews and training. The individual we hope to hire has a very positive attitude , in spite of suffering some unfortunate recent experiences in his personal life, and we are confident can and will represent the company in the professional manner we insist on – consistent with our company motto, “We want a Customer, not just a sale”
