Here are some of the hiring events you can look forward to in the next few weeks:

• 6/15/2023—DFAS Open House-- The Defense Finance and Accounting Services in Rome NY, currently employees over 1000 employees.  They currently have a need to fill several positions including, entry level and accounting positions. They will be holding an open house to highlight  career opportunities and benefits with members of their workforce available to answer questions.  The open house will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on June 15 at the Griffiss Institute located at 592 Hangar Road in Rome, NY.  
• 6/21/23—In Person Mini Job Fair from 11 am to 1 pm at Utica Working Solutions. Businesses attending include Department of Transportation, Walmart, DOCCS, BOCES OHM, McCraith Beverages, The Neighborhood Center, The Nurse Connection Staffing, Standard Heating/ Cooling, Central New York Psychiatric Center, International Paper, Remet Corp, Visions Hotels, HTC, OPWDD, Sturges, and Walgreens. 
• 6/22/23—Central/Mohawk Valley Virtual Career Fair 11 am to 2 pm.
• 6/22/23—The Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) will be onsite at Herkimer Working Solutions, 320 N. Prospect Street in Herkimer from 10 am to 12 noon recruiting for Direct Support Staff and other positions. Stop by to find out more.
• 6/22/23- HP Hood Hiring event- Now Hiring Machine Operators, Warehouse Workers and Maintenance Mechanics. Stop by their location at 19 Ward Street, Vernon, NY 13476 for an on the spot interview between the hours of  9:00 am and 12:00 pm and 3:00pm and 5:00 pm.
• 7/3/23-Carpenters’ Local #277 will hold an information session at the Utica State Office Building, 207 Genesee Street, first floor,  at 6 pm. This is the first step in becoming a Union Carpenter and earning while you learn in their Apprenticeship Program. 
• Pratt & Whitney HMI Interview Day in Clayville, NY is each Wednesday; Must apply online at https://www.Careers.RTX.com and receive invite from business.
• Walmart in Utica and New Hartford is holding open interviews on Tuesdays at 5 pm at the Utica Walmart and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11 am at the New Hartford Walmart.
