Farmer’s Market Site Coordinator
For the Parkway Center
The Parkway Center is a non-profit organization, who mission is to provide programs and services to individuals 50+, empowering them to live healthy and vibrant lives. PC is the sponsor agency for the Oneida County AmeriCorp Senior Corp, Way 2 Go Herkimer and Oneida County and a partner in the Livable Communities Oneida County initiative.
The Farmer’s Market Site Coordinator will be committed to achieving the following results:
- Market the Farmer’s Market to potential vendors
- Increase the number of vendors participating in the Farmer’s Market
- Market and communicate well with diverse populations of the community to increase public participation.
- Operate the SNAP EBT card terminal
- Perform data collection and reporting
- Attend meeting/trainings as related to the Site Coordinator duties
- Responsible for any other duties as assigned by the Executive Director and/or Finance Administrator.
Qualifications: - High School Diploma required
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer and technical Skills
- Valid NYS Driver’s License & own vehicle
Job Hours: Part-time Wednesdays from July – October, 8 hours per week.
