Day Habilitation Specialist 1
Full time positions with The Arc of Oneida/Lewis. Full time, Monday through Friday.
Description: Assists in the implementation of the person we support's ISP/Day Habilitation Plan by providing direct care, training and supervision to the extent required by utilizing as many community based resources and supports as appropriate to the plan.
Qualifications: HS diploma or its equivalent; Requirement of a high school diploma or equivalent may be waived in lieu of a NY State Department of Health licensure as a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) or comparable training or experience that correlates with the functions of this position. Habilitation Specialists will be involved in providing transportation to individuals, an approved copy of a Drivers Abstract from the Department of Motor Vehicles must be available. Requirement of an approved Drivers Abstract may be waived by the Division Head. Full time, Monday through Friday, Full Benefits. EOE.

Employment Specialist
Full time position in Oneida county for The ARC of Oneida/Lewis Counties. Responsible for the provision of employment supports to individuals with disabilities to help them identify and meet their vocational needs, maximizing their independence and utilizing all of the resources in the community available to them.
Qualifications: Associates Degree and a minimum of two years’ experience working with people with disabilities; or High School Diploma and a minimum of three years’ experience working with people with disabilities. Must have acceptable driver's license, personal vehicle and willingness to transport self and consumers, if needed. Full-time, flexible schedule may include nights and weekends. Full benefits.
