Position Purpose:
The Health Benefit Representative (HBR) sells Fidelis Care products and services by first identifying membership growth opportunities in an assigned territory and then meeting or exceeding production goals by enrolling individuals in the appropriate Fidelis Care product. The HBR fully and thoroughly understands and is able to effectively explain, communicate, recommend and enroll individuals into the best product for their unique needs. In-depth knowledge of all Fidelis Care products, including "metal" products offered through the New York State of Health (NYSOH), Medicaid Managed Care, Child Health Plus, Medicare, MLTC, FIDA and HARP. Ability to answer product feature and benefit questions; compare and contrast Fidelis Care products and provider network of competing plans in assigned territory.


The HBR interacts directly with individuals, first conducting a needs based analysis to better understand and recommend the best product for their unique needs. They educate individuals on healthy lifestyles, preventive care services and assist them through each step of the application and enrollment process.


This position may represent Fidelis Care at various community events, marketing sites, and in an individual's home. By virtue of understanding and serving the individual's needs, they generate referrals from the individuals they have assisted for other individuals that may benefit from one of Fidelis Care's products.


The successful HBR also builds and establishes relationships within the community in order to find new opportunities and sites in their assigned territory. The HBR may routinely deliver presentations in order to educate and promote Fidelis Care products. This includes presentations to individuals, groups, providers, community based organizations and local businesses leaders.
The HBR thoroughly and completely understands and regularly uses the Sales Force CRM as an activity tracking and lead/referral tracking tool, to manage appointments and follow up, manage their calendar and report on activity to their management. They also are fluent and can articulate the QCMI program, are knowledgeable of the provider networks in their territory and have a working knowledge of Fidelis Care's care management approach.

Position Purpose:
The Customer Care Associate (CCA) is responsible for assisting members and clients at an assigned Fidelis Care office location. Clarify the customer's complaint; determine the cause of the problem; select and explain the best solution to solve the problem (if unable to handle directly, provide accurate guidance to correct department) and expedite correction or adjustment; follow up to ensure resolution.


Develop and maintain relationships with existing members by providing guidance and assistance throughout the year. Demonstrate passion for members by identifying unfulfilled needs and providing necessary education and assistance to promote the value and benefits offered by Fidelis Care. Modify delivery skills accordingly to overcome objections and retain members. Identify solutions to issues and concerns. To include, payment Inquiries, ID requests, PCP changes, renewal and benefit inquires as they present at the office or other assigned sites.


Job performance requires fulfilling other incidental or related duties as assigned, assisting and training others, tabling at community based office, provider offices and events as needed to include nights and weekends. Performing duties of higher rated positions from time to time for developmental purposes.

Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required, Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree Preferred

License/Certification:
Ability to undergo rigorous internal training and have complete command of the sales process, Fidelis Care products, competitive environment in their region and successfully pass a test (with a minimum 85% score) with no more than 2 attempts, which will indicate the applicants level of proficiency in these areas.

The scope is from Boonville (Lewis County) through Forestport (Oneida County), through Town of Webb (Herkimer County) and into Inlet (Hamilton County). It is completely free for both job seekers and employers to use, and streamlined for maximum ease of use.

Targeted job seekers are people living around a 35-40 minute commuting distance along the Route 28 corridor.

They will also be adding the summer commuter bus route to the site as well, and plan to add listings of workforce housing rentals available in the area.

Mohawk Valley EDGE is Looking for a Director of Marketing and Communications in Rome, NY.

 

Job Overview

Develop, oversee and execute the communications and marketing plan for Mohawk Valley EDGE (www.mvedge.org) and economic development organizations that EDGE serves. Also, assist in the development and implementation of EDGE’s business attraction strategy. Primary responsibilities include managing the organization's , public relations, communications, and marketing programs while maintaining and enhancing the image of the Mohawk Valley, Mohawk Valley EDGE, and various economic development organizations served by EDGE.

Responsibilities and Duties

This position is responsible for, but not limited to:

• Support EDGE business attraction, community liaison, and business retention efforts that are part of EDGE outreach and global marketing efforts. Marketing Program also includes strategic partnerships with other regional economic development stakeholders .

• Assist and coordinate with marketing and promotion consultants for the development and implementation of the overall marketing and promotion effort.

• Manage the marketing and communicationsbudget.

• Assist in the writing and submission of grants to various organizations. Writing and/or coordinating the production of written communications materials, including news updates, press releases and other promotional collateral material.

• Graphic design and production of EDGE marketing collateral including ads, presentations, brochures, and general promotional pieces.

• Act as media spokesman in conjunction with EDGE President - includes developing and managing all media relations.

• Provide staff support to the Mohawk Valley Regional Economic Development Council to help promote implementation of Upstate Revitalization Strategy and potential state funding opportunities that will assist MVREDC in implementation of regional strategy including document writing, and design.

• Interact with government officials at local, state and federal levels.

• Support business development and attraction activities including trade shows, industry events, and targeted outreach.

• Assist in fundraising activities and act as project lead on planning the company's fundraising events, including the Leading EDGE Awards Luncheon and Site Selectors Guild Advisory Forum.

• Providing staff support to various boards and/or committees that EDGE serves.

• Assist staff in development of materials and communicating of programs, activities and key information including arranging and making presentations to community groups in private and public settings.

• Coordinate community events such as Business After Hours and community sessions.

• Development and ongoing support of the organization’s web site and social media platforms (including but not limited to LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, WordPress based website, email and mass contact applications).

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Public Relations or related field.

• Experience with digital and print marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing.

• Strong leadership skills.

• An affinity for current digital technologies is essential.

• Strong knowledge and proficiency in data software: Microsoft Office Suite (required), Adobe (preferred).

• Excellent oral and written communication skills and strategic listening skills are necessary to effectively exercise tact, discretion, judgment and diplomacy when interacting and/or negotiating with all levels of internal and external customers.

• Strong organizational skills - attention to detail and Self-Motivator - willing to take the initiative.

• Creative innovator with entrepreneurial spirit.

• Ability to travel independently.

• Active, lifelong learner mentality.

• Ideally a successful candidate should have some relevant marketing communication experience or previous experience shows the use of skills necessary to execute this position successfully. EDGE will count internships and work coop as evidence of relevant work experience.
